| Bearings Replaced? | Removed main caps #7 & #6. Removed main bearings, they show wear and the crankshaft also has wear, can feel groves in the crankshaft, even after emery cloth was used to try to smooth it out, the crankshaft and bearings need replaced. Removed rod cap #5. Removed rod bearing and it shows wear to the copper layer and needs replacement rod bearings. Reinstalled main and rod bearings. Reinstalled main and rod caps then torqued to spec. Reinstalled oil pan. |
